  9. The derative represents the slope of the graph at a given x value.

  11. When using the quotient rule, do not switch the order of the terms in the numerator since subtraction is not commutative.

  13. When asked to find the max/min value of a function, find only the y-value.

  15. Don't forget to add the constant, C, when finding an indefinite integral.
